The KCAR REALTOR® of the Year award honors exceptional service to our Local, State, and National Associations, as well as community engagement. The recipient exemplifies the "REALTOR® Spirit," a commitment to the ideals of the REALTOR® organization, professional conduct, adherence to the Code of Ethics, and significant contributions over the past five years.

The esteemed Affiliate of the Year award is presented to a non-REALTOR® Affiliate Member of the Kitsap County Association, recognizing their outstanding support for both the Association and the real estate industry. Our Affiliates encompass a broad spectrum of businesses, companies, and institutions, including title companies, lending institutions, appraisers, inspectors, waste removal services, photographers, and more who generously dedicate their time and energy to support KCAR.

This award recognizes outstanding service to our Local, State and National Associations as well as community involvement. The REALTOR® Achievement Award demonstrates what we call “REALTOR® Spirit”, a faithfulness to the principles of the REALTOR® organization, professionalism, the Code of Ethics, and is based on programs, participation, and accomplishments over the past five years. 

The purpose of the NEW I.D.E.A. Award is to highlight KCAR members who are making meaningful and impactful contributions in promoting Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (I.D.E.A.) in their communities and the real estate industry through community engagement and client advocacy; fair housing practices and inclusive marketing; mentorship/leadership and workplace inclusivity; and education, advocacy, and awareness.

The distinguished KCAR REALTOR® Community Service Award celebrates a REALTOR® who has dedicated the past five years to providing exceptional, unpaid service to their community. Whether through volunteer efforts, support of non-profit organizations, or collaboration with government agencies, this award honors those who selflessly give their time, energy, and resources to enhance the lives of others.  

This prestigious Citizen of the Year award is bestowed upon a non-REALTOR® who has made significant contributions to the betterment of our community, truly representing the spirit of this accolade. Whether as a Public Official, Educator, Business Professional, Philanthropist, or in another capacity, they have demonstrated unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others. Through their leadership, service, and philanthropy, they have notably enhanced the health, safety, and prosperity of our community—making an indelible impact on health care, community safety, social justice, education, economic growth, and social or cultural cohesion in 2024.

The Partner of the Year award is presented to a cooperative association, individual, news outlet, service provider, community activist group, and similar entities or individuals. Selection is based on involvement in community affairs, support for KCAR and/or REALTOR® issues, and overall contribution to REALTOR® initiatives.
