ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The Kitsap County Association of REALTORS® Foundation is a 501(c)3 established in 2020 to extend the services of the associations previous program, known as RAIN - REALTORS® and Affiliates in Need. Originally created in 1994, the program was extended into it's present day Foundation under 2020 President, Irene Garcia.
The program assists both REALTORS® and Affiliates that are active and in good standing with KCAR in extenuating circumstances such as, but not limited to: Loss of Employment due to Medical and/or other Long Term Care Causes, Financial Hardship, Medical Necessity, Natural Disasters, or Loss of Partner or contributing family member.
The program exists to ensure that we assist those in Real Estate supplement loss of income or unexpected expenses that could prevent them from remaining in their home.
